Information for Carers

Here at Pedal Power we have first-hand experience of what it takes to be a carer - we meet you every day, on bikes, in the cafe - and we want to support you in any way we can.

Free Cycle Hire

​

Our membership package means that once a member has been assessed and matched with the best bike/trike accessories to suit their needs, their carer (if needed), can also cycle with them at NO CHARGE. We hope this helps to make more frequent visits affordable.

Our Cafe

​

We know how important social contact is - it can be lonely being a carer - and we are always delighted to welcome you to our cafe. This is your space to feel comfortable and chat or just take time for yourself, with no pressure to leave or purchase. We have indoor and outdoor seating (covered), with throws for the chillier seasons. We have a disabled toilet and are wheelchair accessible - feel free to move tables and chairs to suit your needs (or ask for assistance).
