The Cycle to Work scheme is a government-backed scheme to help people in employment with purchasing new and second-hand cycles. It does this by:

  • You pay nothing up front and instead pay by monthly reductions in your salary. This spreads the cost, interest-free.

  • You pay before paying tax or national insurance on your income, so you can make big savings of typically 20-47% off the cycle purchase price.  â€‹â€‹

Ask your employer if they are already part of the scheme or if they are interested in joining. Contact us if you need more details.

 

Which scheme providers does Pedal Power work with?

There are many Cycle to Work scheme providers that work with your employer to administer the scheme. We currently accept the providers The Green Commute Initiative, Cyclescheme and Cycle2Work. If you employer uses a different provider, get in touch and we can discuss.

What type of cycle can I get with the scheme?

All of the bikes, trikes and quads that we sell, as well as any accessories that you need (locks, helmets etc) can be part of the scheme. Both new and second-hand are eligible. Electric and manual cycles are included.
