Cycle Safety Awareness Training

Our training courses for support workers, carers and parents of disabled riders continue to prove very popular, helping to build confidence and provide expertise through practical experience of Pedal Power’s impressive range of bikes and trikes. The course concentrates on:

Essential health and safety, both for the rider and carer
The use of the accessible bikes and trikes
Choosing and using accessories, such as foot plates and seat belts
Cycling within the Pedal Power area – paths, routes, things to see and hazards to avoid

The course lasts for 1.5 hours and the cost is £20 per trainee. Pedal Power is keen to see all support workers undertaking this course .
