Are you a fan of vintage, retro or kitsch items? Do you have an appreciation for unique, handmade creations? Would you enjoy a cup of freshly brewed tea or coffee with a slice of delicious home made cake, listening to some great live music?
We have been running vintage and craft fairs for a year and they are very successful. Our stall-holders have always been happy with their sales during a fair. If you wish to enquire about a stall then please email vintagefairs@cardiffpedalpower.org. We are now taking bookings for the nexf fair on 09/06//2012 from 10am to late afternoon.
Following the success of the March Fair this Fair will also be held in the Scout Base in the Pontcanna Fields car park off Fields Park Road. This will enable us to hold the Fair completely under cover. There will be light refreshments availble on site nd if you fancy a bike ride you can collect a voucher for a half price bike ride on the day. Our headquarters is just a short walk from the Scout Base.ll finish at 4pm.
We hold them every quarter and they are becoming "must do" events. Once again we’ll be bringing you a fantastic selection of over twenty stall-holders, show-casing the very best in vintage and unique handmade items including:
And that’s not all. Throughout the day we'll have a number of great acts performing acoustic sets and live music for you to enjoy, whilst you browse our multitude of stalls. When you're ready to take the weight off your feet, sit back and enjoy a fresh brewed tea or coffee with a slice of home-made cake. And remember to watch out for our charity prize draw – with many prizes to be won. Admission is free. All the proceeds raised from this event will go directly to help the charity Pedal Power, who work to make cycling accessible for all. Donations are extremely welcome
At Christmas we have a Santa's grotto with presents for the children. There is an entry fee for the grotto.
By car: From Cathedral Road, turn onto Fields Park Road. Take the third right into Pontcanna Fields car park, where you will find ample parking right next to the Scout Base
On foot the Scoutbase is adjacent to the Avenue running between Western Avenue and the cricket Ground or from Fields park Road as described above
To visit our hire centre, go to thje avenue behiond the Scout Base and turn right following the brown Pedal Power / Cycle Hire signs. Pedal Power is approximately 500m further down towards the SWALEC Stadium, on your right. If you get lost, please call us on 02920 390713 and we'll guide you in.
