Cycle Maintenance Services

Our bike mechanics are fully trained and able to offer a full bike safety check and maintenance service at both our centres. If you want to book your bike in please contact us and ask to speak to the bike shed manager.

Below is our list of services and charges. We are able to fix most problems. If what you need is not covered please ask for an estimate.

All prices quoted here are as a guide only. Customers will be charged as appropriate where repairs jobs take significantly longer or are significantly quicker than normally estimated.

All prices, unless otherwise stated, are exclusive of parts. Extra parts and spares will be charged for as appropriate.

All prices are inclusive of VAT. However, where the service or repair is to an adapted cycle then VAT can be exempted. Please ask Cycle Shed for the appropriate form..................

Dr Bike Sessions

If you have a bike needing some TLC bring it along to one of Dr Bike sessions. Held on Saturdays, our mechanic will check your bike and fix any minor problems. You will be charged for any parts we fit but we do not charge for the labour but we do ask you to make a donation. The next session will be on November 17.

If the bike needs more work than we can do in such a session you can book it in for a full service or repair as listed below.

Safety check £15

Includes:

Frame/forks – inspect and report
Brakes – adjust and report
Gears – adjust and report
All bearings – inspect and report
Wheels – rims– inspect and report.
Check wheel nuts/QRs. Pump tyres
Controls – check adjustment of saddle, stem, bars

Service—£25 standard/£35 with new cables*
